JOEL SOTO

Joel Soto is a sixteen-year-old eleventh-grade musician and singer-songwriter who currently attends the California School of the Arts. He started playing piano at 4 years old and discovered a love for singing, performing, and playing guitar at eleven years old. Joel has performed in over 100 live Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Jazz, and Blues shows with both teen and adult bands. He opened for War and Blood, Sweat & Tears, and shared the bill with Los Lobos, Kodi Lee, Shemekia Copeland, and Orianthi at the Murrieta Blues and Jazz Festival in 2025. Joel performed with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band in 2024. He recently performed at the Long Beach Blues Festival and at the Whisky A Go-Go. Joel’s been an “A” student throughout his 11 years of school. His favorite subjects are Science and History. Joel loves to read and write. His favorite writers are Steinbeck and Hemingway.
